Playmakers

I was going to be in a Christmas Carol,but I was sick during the auditions. Luckily, there was a choir this year. So I had to be in the choir. Now a Christmas Carol is 2 days, the 17th and the 18th. I'm enjoying it "so far," but tomorrow will rehearse from 4 'oclock- to 9 'oclock! (But we will get an hour off for dinner. Anyway, I'm soooooooooooooooo excited to perform or should I say "sing."

thanksgiving is giving programs?

Okay I really didn't mean to be so smart, because it is part of being awesome! Well one day we figured out that third grade was going to be in charge of the thanksgiving program on Friday. So that day we had to write a story or a poem about something we are thankful for.I wrote a poem and this is what it is...

I am thankful for the clothes I wear, I am thankful for the nice fresh air, I am thankful for my family dear, I am thankful for my neighbors near, I am thankful for the places I go, And I am thankful for the things I know.

Anyway, my teacher only got to choose 2 poems or stories, and mine was one of them! Now I feel embarrassed to go up in front of the whole school, and say my part.(uh oh!)

A bad week to be sick

All because of "CINDY" I am now officially sick./I have the swine flue. Even though this is the coolest week of the school year! This week we are doing... Crazy hair day, Crazy sock day, Inside out day, and wear red day.Me and Cindy can't go to school until this Friday. Yesterday my mom said (Since we couldn't go the other days of school .) That on Friday we could wear red, wear crazy hair, wear crazy socks, and maybe wear our shirt inside out! I LOVE MY MOM !

Not sick???

Last night I was coughing, and feeling like I was going to throw up all night. I HATED IT! (But eventually I fell asleep.) When I woke up this morning I still felt a little bit sick. My mom was taking Anna, and Jared's temperature. I asked my mom if she could take my temperature too. She said she could do it once, so she did. When she did it said my temperature...98.4! I couldn't believe my eyes. In fact they almost popped out of my head! I said, "How could I not be sick?" Well anyway, I still am wondering how I am not sick. P.S.It is a little bit awesome that I am not sick, but it is not TOTALLY awesome that I am not sick.

a rough start to third grade

Okay, I've finally had enough time to settle myself down at the computer. First of all I have a ear infection, but I still have to go school. Second of all my best friend moved yesterday. I am going to get baptized in two months!(It does not matter right now though.) I'm excited about one thing though. It is when we get to go to disneyland around April (maybe). I have a nice teacher but I have o sit by a very annoying boy. Cindy got the swine flu and we are probably all going to get it because it is very contagious. We were going to go to Las Vegas to show Jenny the sights this weekend, but since Cindy got sick it is going to have to wait. I have feeling that this is going to be an awesomely NOT cool school year.

8 year old trip

Well Cindy got to go to the Statue of Liberty when she was 8 with my dad, so I get to pick a place to go too! I chose Mount Rushmore because at school this last year I did a report on it and made a sculpture of it. I am so excited to go- just me and my dad. It is a 14 hour drive from here. He has always wanted to go too. It should be fun. We are probably going to leave in the morning. Here is a picture of me with my sculpture last year. SUMMER!!!!!!!!!!!!

My summer so far is Grrrrrrrrreat, I think the funnest part of the summer so far is going to my grandma's house and when our cousins came from NM. I've gone swimming lots of times so far. And I hope we keep on swimming. We're going to go to the stadium of FIRE and we are going to seven peeks or lagoon and we might go to disneyland. I'm going to have a fun summer and have fun vacations.

there is no doubt, THAT SCHOOL IS OUT!

I am really excited that school is out! Not really... I am happy and sad at the same time.  The only thing that I am excited about is that I am not waking up at 6:30 every day and that we get to go on vacations.  I'm sad because I'm not ever gonna have Mrs. Bentley as a teacher again.  She was a great teacher.  She wanted to go and teach 3rd grade so she could be our teacher again, and then fourth, and then fifth.  Sorry I haven't written for a long time- I forgot and I don't have time.  I am busy cleaning, practicing the piano, and playing with my friends and I have been busy with school and homework.  I am going to try and write more about my summer and my totally awesome life!  

Being 7

These days I've been trying to be a good girl' but it is hard because I'm just feeling lazy all the time. Tomorrow is my SEP (parent teacher conference) and I'm very embarrassed because I'm not sure if I've been doing well in my class. My mom thinks I'm doing really good in class. We'll see what my teacher says tomorrow. I LOVE my teacher. Her name is Mrs. Bentley and she is great. But I'm pretty sure that I'm going to do good on my SEP because I've been studying hard.

I like being 7 because I'm thinking about getting baptized when I'm eight. My birthday is November 15th. I also like being 7 because I feel like I am getting older and because I like going to different grades to learn new stuff. I know my times tables up to eleven, except for 6s and 7s and 8s. But I know 9s and 10s and all the rest. I like learning new things and I love math and writing stories with my selling words. When I write a good story my teacher lets me read it in front of the class.
